My four-year-old daughter loves the My First Little House Books! Laura Ingles and her family live in the big woods, playing and working alongside each other on the farm. The illustrations by Renee Graef (based on Garth Williams’ art) are beautifully drawn, describing beautifully the life of the Ingles family in the smaller version adapted for younger children.
