Hi, I’m Sheri!
Our homeschooling experience is a story of God’s faithfulness. As a former public school teacher, I never imagined I would one day be home educating ten children—but over time, I’ve come to love the freedom and opportunities our kids have been given through homeschooling.
There have been hard days—tears over math, sibling conflicts, and moments when I wanted to quit—but also deep joy in watching our children grow right before our eyes. Giving up a career wasn’t easy, yet what I’ve gained has been far greater than I ever expected.
For over sixteen years, my husband and I have built a family-centered life filled with books, conversations, field trips, close friends, and everyday moments that have shaped who we are.
I’ve learned more from homeschooling my own children than I ever did in a classroom, and I’m still learning every single day! The afternoons spent reading together on the sofa remain some of my most treasured memories.
Our homeschool hasn’t been perfect—but it has been a deeply worthwhile one. Through it all, I can honestly say: I love who are kids are becoming and I am so thankful for the time we’ve been given with our kids.
